Sažetak
Engineering design and manufacturing process selection are two of the most important steps in creation process of optimal product. Thin plate-workpieces are very frequently used as equipment members. Because of their very tight tolerances required and controlled surface finish it is very important to know how to predict and describe their manufacturing process. This paper deals with numerical modelling of rolling process. Large elastoplastic strains using updated Lagrangian Hencky formulation are modelled. Numerical procedure is based on the finite element technique. An example is presented.
