Sažetak
The influence of quality characteristics of yarn on the optimum manufacture of fabric was analysed. Based on yarn properties an optimal size coat satisfying fabric quality and optimal yarn breaks on the loom was sought. Tne correlation between the following parameters was examined: size coat, end breaks in weaving, yarn various size coats and woven in two weaves. The obtained results revealed a certain dependence of the parameters and a possibility to find optimum costs and quality of the woven fabric.
