Sažetak
This work deals with the problem of stability analysis of uniformly compressed thin-walled columns with open cross sections and which are usually equipment girders or equipment members. Numerical approach used in this work is based on the finite element technique and so treated problems are finally solved as matrix eigenvalue ones. Material is assumed to obey the Hookes law. Obtained numerical results are compared to the well-known analytical values.
