Sažetak
The super-resolution DF problem based on root algorithms and linear antenna arrays in the presence of mutual coupling is addressed. Mutual coupling degrades the performance of root-based super-resolution DF algorithms significantly. It is shown how the linear coupling cancellation transform can be constructed based on the mutual impedance matrix of the linear antenna array and implemented as numerical transform of the digitized baseband signals. The Modified Root Pisarenko (MRP) algorithm has been used to evaluate influence of the mutual coupling on the accuracy of the Direction Of Arrival (DOA) estimation using root-based algorithms.
