Sažetak
The meaning of the estimates in project will be explained. The methodology of estimating project duration will be explained. The distribution of uncertainty will be used with the aim to estimate the project finish time related to the characteristics of technology and the organization of the project. The short overview of the estimating techniques will be presented. The possibilities and limits of the use of estimates adjusted with uncertainty in construction industry will be discussed. The comparison of the use of deterministic against stochastic approach in construction will be discussed. Conclusion and recommendations for further work will be presented.
