Sažetak
The increased trends in the passenger traffic and in the quantities of the road conveyed goods, condition also the increased requirements to the load bearing capacity and durability of the road infrastructure. The stated requirements impose the necessity of defining the procedures for measuring of pavements condition and their data analysis. Such a necessity means the availability of measuring devices for road monitoring. The standardized and consistent data are of crucial importance for monitoring. The paper describes and analyses the device and measuring methods, which enable the objective survey of main features of road condition. Special emphasis is given to the state of the art of equipment and the necessity of introducing it into the monitoring system of the Croatian roads. This makes the important basis for the systematic planing of road maintenance.
