Sažetak
Identification of the lumbosacral (L-S) segment on magnetic resonance (MR) images is important for appropriate treatment of disease in the lumbosacral (L_S) area. In the study, data obtained from plain AP radiographs of the LS spine and sagittal MR imaging scanss of the LS spine and sacrum with coccygeal bone, are analysed.Determination of the S1 vertebra enables detection of the L5 vertebra and in turn, of all other lumbar vertebra. In this process, wheather the patient had a transitional vertebra or wheather there was lumbaisation or sacralisation was irrelevant.
