Sažetak
The paper describes the major current advances in implementation of DHI software in waste water submarine disposal - related field within the framework of the project "Planning and Management of Rijeka Bay Aquatic Environment", conducted and head by the Civil Engineering Institute of Croatia - Rijeka Regional Unit. It is demonstrated how the MOUSE package enabled sewer system operation analysis and how the MIKE21 HD and AD modules were used for analysis of different scenarios of waste water release into the northern part of the Rijeka Bay. Conclusions drawn on the basis of integration of external data basis and modelled results were used as a lever for making decisions and choosing between different development alternatives.
