Sažetak
Main figures and organizational scheme of the Kastela Bay project were presented to highly authoritative auditorium, including ministers of environmental protection of all Mediterranean countries. The presentation was focused on the selection of appropriate wastewater treatment degree for the Split plant, to be implemented in the near future. Selected optimum solution was analyzed in the context of Barcelona Convention, which requires all plants with more than 100.000 PE to have minimum secondary treatment. Stobreč outfall impact assessment is presented in light of documented high assimilative capacity of the recipient in the Brač Channel.
