Sažetak
In thin-walled structures design the stability analysis is the most important one. Numerical method, such as finite element method, is a very powerful tool in computer modeling of considered complicated structure geometry, boundary conditions, material behavior, etc. In this article, using finite element modeling of the real thin-walled beam-type structure elements, the prediction of load capacity of considered elements is given based on the local and global stability analysis. The necessary numerical procedure and its comparison with well-known solutions as well as some results of experimental investigations are presented too.
