Sažetak
In this work chromatographic behavior of numerous heavy metal components that can be found during paper recycling was examined by thin layer chromatography. It is an analytical method for simultaneous separation and identification of components that are present in the sample, that can be applied for the determination of numerous components, both organic and inorganic, due to the variety of stationary and mobile phases that can be chosen. Separation of the chosen heavy metals was optimized by DX6 software program, according to the Rf and Rs criteria. Rf presents the ratio between distance that component has gone and the distance that solvent has gone, and Rs is the difference between distances of two components. It is shown that optimal ternary mobile phase composition for separation of metal ions on the cellulose plate is the mixture of acetonitrile, hydrochloric acid and water
