Sažetak
The rolled products belong to the oldest products in metal-working industry. In past time the rolling process was analysed on the basis of experimental data and analytical solutions. Today, the modern numerical simulation of rolling process has to be considered.
In this paper a special rolling problem, so-called sheet rolling process is condsidered. Computed roll-workpiece contact pressure is obtained using finite element technique. According to the thin plate workpiece considered, the rolling problem as a plane-strain problem was analysed. Large elastoplastic strains using updated Lagrangian Hencky formulation are modelled. An example is presented.
