Sažetak
The accuracy of electric field calculations (using finite element method and lightning or breaking over-voltage conditions) in shape optimization of electrodes and insulators inside the gas insulated substation and circuit breaker disconnecting area was discussed and illustrated by several cases proved in manufacturers' practice.
