Sažetak
A method for implementing parallel "for" loops on multiprocessors is analyzed. The method uses dynamic scheduling to distribute the workload among available processes. The resulting total execution time of a parallel "for" loop is first estimated. Dynamic schedules are then compared with theoretically optimal schedules. Finally, a realization of the method on a transputer network is presented.
