Sažetak
Croatia has a long tourist tradition. After the war and upon getting interdependence Croatia has defined its new marketing strategy of development. The bearers of this strategy are: joint stock companies in tourism and municipal tourist offices. The positive results are seen already: hotel objects are renovated, the quality of services improved and tourist traffic increased. The tendency is also to protect the natural, cultural and the other tourist values as well as to obtain their better appraisal. Croatia is suitable for all kinds of tourism and it can also become a leader in vocational and nautical tourism on the Mediterranean.
