Sažetak
This book presents the material as an output of the TCET Working Group 3.4 under the task: 'Models of Power System Planning'. The objective of this report is to analyze and evaluate the present Croatian and Norwegian situation regarding the models of power system planning. The adjusting of the organization and the way of functioning of energy sector and market to the standards of the organization and the way of functioning of energy market in EU countries, is one of key strategic determinants of energy development. The opening of the electricity markets and the ruling EU Directives on the energy sector supporting these world wide trends, has changed or will radically change the way electricity supply systems are planned, designed, operated and maintained. The results made in this material (short, medium and long-term grid development plan, local, regional and european context, production investments, reserve planning, power system security, authority monopoly regulations) are foundation for the teaching and lessons to be done in implementation of the TCET.
