Sažetak
Paper presents coupling effects in the thermomechanics. Theoretical basis for the thermoelasticity and thermoplasticity is provided. Elastic structural heating for the thermoelastic case and elasto-plastic structural heating and mechanical dissipation for the thermoplastic case are given. The numerical aspects of the problem at hand are addressed. Efficiency and shortcomings are illustrated in one example.
