Sažetak
A large number of structures will be built on the Licki Osik – Sveti Rok section of the Bregana – Zagreb – Dubrovnik motorway. The section length is 32.18 km and there are several one-span bridges in this section. A single type of girder and pier was used in design work to obtain uniformity of construction. Each bridge consists of two structures (one for each direction) allowing the required bodied highway to be achieved. The span structure consists of four prefabricated prestressed girders (U-shaped section) with the deck slab cast in situ. The static system is a range of simple supported beams leaned on the pier overhead beams. Although the aim was to achieve typical spans, that was not always possible due to variety of obstacles (natural, traffic, etc.).Threrefore we have two structures, each with its particularities. One is that I-shaped prestressed girders were used on oblique structures. These structures also have differing spans. Another particularity is that there are abutment and abutment wing walls shaping on the oblique structures. The abutments are designed as retaining walls with vertical wing walls. This paper shows the basic characteristics of the short span bridges on the designed motorway section.
