Sažetak
This article attempts to cover period from the moment of application purchase till it’ s conversion into service. Numerous problems and pitfalls are explained faced by the potential service provider, as well as instructions for avoiding them in order to transform application into profitable service. Special attention has been given to the experiences drawn from implementing SMS School Notification System in the Education System in Croatia which emphasize the activities for the following: infrastructure, business model, financial aspects, legal issues, marketing, implementation issues and organizational issues.
