Sažetak
The present paper deals with the rediscovering of Cytherissa lacustris in Greece and reassings the palaeoecological conditions of life of this species reviewing its presence in this and other environments. Samples were taken from a Pleistocene section of Geras gulf (Lesvos island) and theassociated microfauna is also examined and discussed in order to have an as accurate as possible determination of the paleoenvironmental conditions. This species is able to adapt locally to new ecological conditions.
