Sažetak
This study is based on the first arrival dates during spring migration. We collected data from 1980 to 2000 for six bird species for the Mokrice village region. The first arrival date of the pied wagtail showed the least variation (s.d. = 2.54): mean arrival date being March 2. The stonechet showed the greatest variation in its first arrival date (s.d. = 10.77). In relation to the first arrival date, the starling and the pied wagtail are early arrivals, whereas the other four species (stonechat, barn swallow, blackcap, and serin) are late arrivals. This was done to avoid multiple testing (different analyses for each species), and after significant agreement (mutual correlation) was found between the arrival date of all six species with respect to year of the study (Kendall`s coefficient of concordance, p = 0.006)
