Sažetak
The paper presented describes a laboratory investigation of the properties of cement-stabilized roadway base course materials consisting of sand from the Drava River, stabilized by a hydraulic binder composed of cement and fly ash. Fly ash in the binder did not have emphasized hydraulic properties (content 2.5% CaO). The objective of this study was to determine the activity of certain factors on compressive strength and on indirect tensile strength. The investigated factors are: total amount of binder, amount of fly ash in binder, temperature and time of treatment of samples. Compressive strength was defined as uni-axial and indirect tensile strength method was used for determination of tensile strength.
