Sažetak
The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate an application of GIS techniques and methodologies and multicriterional analysis as powerful tools covering all three parts (data, dialog, model) of DSS in coastal zone management. This is demonstrated on the example of coastal zone value assessment on the island Bra~. Analysis includes all relevant factors and data that influence coastal values of the island. It is shown that available data and possibility to generate additional information, including the flexibility makes this system one of the essential instruments of coastal zone management
