Sažetak
This paper represents an attempt to improve city management in the fire service. This is crucial component but its functionality can only be seen in situations when lives and goods are jeopardised. Therefore it is necessary to build a secure firefight system that will be able to support decision making process in real time. Supporting decision making with GIS (geographical information system) based DSS (decision support system) will rise functionality and operational abilities of the fire service. Such evaluation represents very useful and practical tool for this and any other city facility that have to solve problems in real time with minimum risks.
