Sažetak
The new acquisition tape formats: Betacam SX, Digital-S, DV, DVCAM and DVCPRO are all digital formats and use some form of compression. They offer a completely new technical solution from camera shooting and editing to transmitting of TV program, and they are much more than just new VTR formats. The Croatian Radiotelevision - HRT has tested the main performances of these formats making multi-generation copies of EBU test sequences. The obtained results prove to be very good. For making the final evaluation the compete systems are needed and they will be avaialable by the end of 1997.
