Sažetak
A new DPM, 2/3 inch, Frame Transfer CCD sensor includes very high vertical and horizontal resolution with 1000 pixels per line. Switching from the basic 4:3 sensor format to 16:9 occurs instantaneously, and gives no loss of horizontal and vertical resolution, with the horizontal viewing angle remaining the same and optical center remaining unchanged in both formats. The vertical picture size changes and the sensitivity is about 25% lower in the 16:9 mode. This new sensor is designed as a result of co-operation between BTS and Philips Image Technology Center.
