Sažetak
In research accried out in 1989 about how civil engineers view what knowledge and skills are needed for managarial work, the authors identified "the nost important" knowledge and skills that an CE maanger of that time should have. Now, 13 years later, in completely different enonomic and political surroundings, the author wanted to find out what are now the most important knowledge and skills for the modern managers. Based on the results of field research, the authors compare knowledge and skills needed by "perfect managers" then and now. The questionnaire was envisioned as "pursuit of perfect manager" and the new MBA in Construction postgraduate programme was designed based on results obtained.
