Sažetak
The constant growth of electronic commerce indicates that the Web is going to become a major new market for the consumer world. This paper examines WWW sites of the 400 companies in Croatia with the highest revenue. Almost one-fourth of Croatian '400 biggest' have decided to reach customers trough Web sites. Corporate Web sites are compared in order to analyse their support to marketing activities and electronic commerce (online business, customer services, product overview, etc.). According to the results, main objective of large companies when establishing Web sites is communication with customers. Only 9, 4% companies have provided online business on their Web sites confirming that electronic commerce expands slowly to Croatian cyberspace despite of continuous and fast growth of WWW sites and users.
