Sažetak
In order to obtain the hydrogeological maps required by the Assembly of the Čakovec Comune, the "Reports on Measurements and Data Concerning Level of Underground Waters in Međimurje" published by the "Croatian Hydro-meteorological Institute", i.e. its Centre for Hydrological Measurements and Studies have been studied. The isometric map for Međimurje has revealed some illogical data indicatig inaccurate measurements and inaccurate information as to the acutual location of the piezometers. The piezometers and wells where measurements are taken do not evenly cover the Međimurje region ; there are none in some parts of the region, while in the area of the Čakovec and Dubrava Power Stations there are too many. In order to improve the piezometer net, an agreeement has been reached between JVP "Vodoprivreda" (Waterworks) Čakovec and the Institute for Electric Power Production and Energetics, Zagreb, to rationalise the piezometer net, check the preformance of the piezometers, co-ordinates and observation points. Rationalisation and the actual number of measurements should be based upon the assessment of current conditions, measurement data, as well as the type and importance of individual piezometers, all of which has been established by checking all piezometers, educating the staff and producing the isometric map.
