Sažetak
Modification that emerged in graphic systems due to digitalisation of major production phases are com¬ prehensive and demand completly new organisatio¬ nal approaches. CIP3 with PPF format of job ticketing record, is beco¬ ming a tehnical standard of communication in grap¬ hic book production and it imposes an obligation of accepting that kind of standardization. In other words, all appliances that we own and especially tho¬ se we plan, if we want to stay in competition in open, global world market must be in rank with this stan¬ dard. Graphic book production, especially because of JDF, XML and Web will in the future accept different orga¬ nisational routine in remote handling what will be a special challenge for organisation of these services. It is also expected from the future of electronic publi¬ shing to bring important role and e-publishing alone will also have an organizational entry into digital graphic reproduction and editional systems. The role of digital printing which will become an inte¬ grated system of conventional printing, and a whole printing will be treated as integrated digital printing, must progress, acording to it expectation. Surely, it will be used dinamically as conventional printing sup¬ port, including conventional and e-publishing. Beside known possibilities and advantages which are used even today (pre-print, print short runs for marketing and promotional needs) progression is expected in domena of variable, personalized print, as in domena print of book parts, printing of chapters, essays, chips, web links and e-editions and like so. We can conclude that web field and field of publishing and digital integrated printing is especially dynamic, it is needed to define procedures, organizational pointers and expectations in development so we could do im¬ plementations of new systems that already exist. It is also needed to correctly level development pointer and make rules in integrated environment between Web - publishing and book production.
