Sažetak
The evaluation of various design options for steam pressing process efficiency improvement is described. From clothing pressers process data energy consumption and process efficiency are estimated. With returning 60% process condensate about 8% fuel savings is realized. Applying whole condensate heat for driven low thermal difference Stirling engine 13% electrical energy could be saved. While Stirling engine can be used electrical power and economical effect could be much greater. The returning condensate in amount of 192 kg/h is dividing on 76, 8 kg/h for boiler feed water preheating resulting with 3% natural gas savings. The rest of condensate i.e.115, 2 kg/h is used for Stirling engine powering causing electrical energy decrease for about 5%. This hybrid system is environmentally benign, thermal pollution is greatly diminished and very tool for economical growth.
