Sažetak
This paper deals with control of saddle node bifurcation associated with voltage instability. The feedforward control, depending on the total system load, which steers the system away from a saddle node bifurcation and associated voltage collapse, is analyzed in the paper. The control procedure includes computing of control direction in control space (active and reactive powers of loads and generators, settings of tap changing transformers, and shunt capacitor devices). Results of the tests on Bosnian Electric Power Utility System are given to illustrate the performance of the proposed procedure.
