Sažetak
The maintenance of family living and the presence of extended family members is considered to be one of the crucial determinants of adjustment in exile and is recognized to be one of the important protective factors that can lessen the hardships of everyday refugee living. However, this aspect is of refugee and displaced person living is often neglected. This paper analyses the ways in which the study of family living and identity is crucial to the knowledge about exile and processess that accompany it.
