Sažetak
The article illustrates a method in learning basic dc - dc switch mode converters operating principles by means of personal computers PC 486, 8 Mb RAM and the simulation “ Electronics workbench ver 3.0” program which operates in Windows environment using the SPICE models for linear or nonlinear analogue components modeling is used. The simulation has been realized on the step-up converter, step-down converter and step-up/step-down converter as well.. It is possible to see how the changes of circuit component s electric parameters, changes of switch on duration’ s and switching frequency affect the output voltage waveform in transient and stationary mode of operation.
