Sažetak
After a fire break-out aboard a passenger vessel, there is the biggest danger to human lives of uncontrollable smoke spreading in emergency routes. In this paper the situations of fire break-out in a passenger vessel cabin and smoke spreading in the case of various working modes of air-conditioning system have been analysed. The way of integration of intelligent analogous addresable fire-detection system with air-conditioning system on board thus enabling necessary time of evacuation in the case of a fire break-out from any endangered part of a vessel has been described.
