Sažetak
W Interactive SARL (www.winteractive.fr), a spin-off MIRALab, University of Geneva, offers an exciting new service bringing interactive, talking Virtual Characters to Web sites. Based on just two photographs of a person, W Interactive produces a 3D Virtual Character that speaks several languages, smiles, interacts – all that on a standard Web page, thanks to Java technology. Applications range from business and e-commerce to newscasts, entertainment and more. The technology to create a 3D head model based on two photographs is licensed from MIRALab University of Geneva. The patent-pending WebFace technology that makes the Virtual Character appear on a Web page, has been developed by W Interactive.
