Sažetak
Each vessel which sails on big and high waves reduces its speed not because its construction and stability would be endangered, but because that its crew and passengers could not bear vibrations, as well as plunging and stumbling of the ship. The basic idea of FAROP vessel beeing the ship with a superstructure on the stable amortizing field is, not to reduce project speed, but to make sure that the stable amortizing field on which the ship's superstructure would be placed on the wave's impulse at the project speed (30-40 knots), responds with contra-impulse, and the wave influence on the ship hulldoes not have an impact on the superstructure, naturally, up to the wave's height, length and frequency for which the 3-D amortizing field, made by series of oil-air dumpers(shock apsorbers)has been calculated. In the paper some ideas of vessels on 3-D stable amortizing field, their adventages and possible application on different types of ships (mono-hull, catamarans, trimarans, ...)are presented, as well as preliminary diagram of limit areas of translation movements of the imagined vessel, with specified mass of superstructure. The idea is also applicable in bigger ferry-craft, smaller sports boats, yachts, work boats, ships for dangerous liquid transport etc.
