Sažetak
A new approach is proposed for scaling stably stratified turbulence. The fluxes of momentum & heat are directly related to the level of turbulent kinetic energy and temperature variance through the energy similarity relations. In these relations the dimensionless momentum and heat fluxes are assumed to be functions of the local gradient Richardson number only.
