Sažetak
In this paper, a procedure for curve tracing in sequence of dynamic images has been developed and presented. Curve extraction and identification of winning curve is described. Curves are represented using the 3rd order polynomial approach. Searching window in the successive dynamic images of the observed video sequence is narrowed using the motion estimator. In each image, the curve represented by winner chain is selected by a novel curve matching algorithm. The algorithm used for the identification of the best curve match is based on the voting mechanism that includes five components used for the calculation of similarity coefficient. The proposed procedure is evaluated through tests and showed high reliability in real world applications.
