Sažetak
Family relations are considered as one of the fundamental criminological variables within etiological significance in the genesis of delinquent and generally of juvenile deviant behavior. The goal of this research is to determine the differences between three samples of juvenile delinquents, formed according to the quality of family relations, in variables of behavioral disorders and family disorders. The results indicate that the families in which the relations are most severely disordered, with frequent verbal and physical abuse, have very unfavorable circumstances for normal development of minors, and parental social pathology, especially the father's, is particularly pronounced. Minors living in such a family environment manifest serious behavioral disorders: neurotic disorders, aggressiveness, propensity to consumption of alcohol, drug abuse and association with asocial persons. Results of the research speak in favor of the hypothesis on intergenerational transmission of violence and indicate the need to include the family with seriously disordered relations into special treatment programs.
