Sažetak
Most complex systems require a means for notifying service staff that a some event has occured. The problem occurs if a service staff is located far from the equipment. It is also sometimes required to control the process from distance. This paper describes how public telecommunications network can be used to send and receive messages, data and control sequences from equipment to the service staff and vice versa.
