Sažetak
Vatroslav Lisinski was only 25, when he started to compose the first Croatian national opera « ; Ljubav i zloba» ; (« ; Love and Malice» ; ). He lacked the compositional experience having created only some songs and piano pieces, which aroused large popularity whithin the circle of Illyrians. The article presents some data on the premiere of the opera: in social-political aspect (place of the performance, performers, reactions), literal (libretto in the context of contemporary national operas), musical aspect (wat was « ; national» ; in this opera: the view of Illyrians vs. today's analisys ; at all these levels six points of conflict and/or unification are identified.
