Sažetak
In the musical archives of the Split cathedral and the City Museum of Split 21 preserved compositions exist in all, whose authors are composers from the Italian regions of Lombardy and the Po Valley. Three of them (T. Cecchini, J. Speruti, B. Pellizzari) were active in Split as maestri di cappella or organists, and for compositions by thirteen other composers (F. Bertoni, F. Bianchi, G. M. Calegari, G. A. Capuzzi, G. M. Carcani, C. Ferrari, G. Gazzaniga, F. Giardini, V. Martini, S. Mattei, C. F. Pollarolo, G. Sarti, A. Tozzi) no data exist about their provenience. These compositions consist of church (masses, motets), concert, and operatic music (arias, cavatinas, scenes). This 17-18th-century music organically belongs to the complex unity of musical heritage of Split, Dalmatia and Croatia.
