Sažetak
The subject of the investigation was the wear resistance of rolls cast in Cr-Ni-iron and Cr-Ni-Mo-iron. The values of surface wear and the microstructure obtained by modelling the technological parameters of roll wear using laboratory equipment were equal to those from samples taken from the rolls after their use on a rolling mill train. The results made the optimisation of the chemical composition (and structure) of the roll material feasible.
