Sažetak
This report provides a detailed description of the status and development in time of air and precipitation pollution in Croatia, including emissions, atmospheric concentrations and deposition of the major pollutants. It is based on the analysis of measurement data collected at a number of stations varying from 20-30 over 25 years as well as on the EMEP receptor-oriented Lagrangian model results used to quantify transboundary air pollution in Europe in the period 1985-1996. Results of measurements and model calculations were utilized to assess air pollution trends, spatial distribution of concentrations and deposition as well as the reliability of Lagrangian model that was used for quantification of transboundary fluxes of pollutants and as a basis for the emission reduction strategy in Europe over last 20 years.
