Sažetak
This paper establishes an approach to different possibilities of parameter estimation in Excel. After parameter estimation by classical statistical ordinary least square method the same procedure is done using linear programming. The paper also contains the comparative analysis evaluated by illustrative example. At the end the estimation results from the point of view of using each of the model for control, forecasting and analytical purposes are carried out. The topic of the paper is to show how to use Excel in parameter estimation by simple and clear manner for everyone at the different levels of education.
