Sažetak
In laser desorption ionization Fourier transform mass spectrometry, (LDI-FTMS), a high population of ions is usually obtained shortly after the pulse and, by using the synthesized wave inverse Fourier transform (SWIFT)teqnique, it is possible to discard all but one ion species from the source chamber of the spectrometer.
