Sažetak
The paper will explain the importance of the appropriate organization structure and its impact on the competitiveness of construction company. The characteristics of the mostly used organization structures in construction companies will be discussed. The trends in the development of the business environment of construction sector in the region and its implications to the organization structures required characteristics will be presented. The difficulties in organization structure optimization processes will be pointed out, together with recommendations for their resolve.
