Sažetak
In this paper the results of 10 year investigation (1995-2004) of mosquitoes in Osijek (Croatia, south Panonnian Plain) were presented. Dry ice baited CDC traps were used for sampling and 207 136 specimens have been caught. In that material 20 species of mosquitoes were determined. The most numerous species is Aedes vexans which represents 75, 6% of the fauna in the area. Most of the species (11: Aedes vexans, Ochlerotatus sticticus, Culex pipiens complex, Anopheles maculipennis complex, Ochlerotatus caspius group, Culex modestus, Anopheles hyrcanus, Coquillettidia richiardii, Aedes cinereus, Culiseta annulata, Aedes rossicus) were present through all season, and only two species (Ochlerotatus cantans and Ochlerotatus excrucians) appear at the beginning of season.
