Sažetak
This paper describes the Aggregated Battlefield Model (ABM) whose development has been initiated at the Croatian MOD's Institute for Defense Studies, Research and Development (IDSRD) to provide analytical support in addressing the problem of properly structuring future Croatian Armed Forces (CAF). Section 1 will provide the rationale for the development of this model. Section 2 will describe ABM's main features. The reasons for choosing the RAND Corporation's Joint Integrated Contingency Model (JICM) as a starting point of the development process and for modifications and changes necessary to adapt it to Croatia-specific conditions will be also given. The ABM's battle adjudication methodology, which is based on JICM's Situational Force Scoring (SFS), will be described in Section 3. Section 4 will briefly describe the analysis of a force-mix problem using the so-called exploratory analysis technique, as an example of the intended use of ABM.
